Unfollow, guaranteed

Dan Zarrella writes a piece about how making yourself bigger helps to get more followers.
He's for sure right that modesty is not very helpful if you want to become famous, but I don't think that calling yourself Guru, Expert or Author is the most sustainable way...

Whenever I have a few spare minutes, I browse through my timeline and unfollow everybody who uses one of these words in his bio.
I'm almost done.

 

Generally, it's less about calling yourself things, but about doing things - and talking about that.
